Helicopter flying above the clouds

Flight simulation

6DOF flight simulator motion platform for home cockpits, flight training and research. Leave the ground.

Takeoff thrust, turbulence, the flare, the touchdown — all six axes computed in one dynamic model, on the same architecture that moves full-flight training simulators.

The architecture

Born in aviation.

The Stewart platform was engineered for flight simulation — the same six-actuator architecture that moves certified full-flight simulators in airline training centers. TORQ EVO 2 brings that architecture to a footprint that fits a room, without simplifying the kinematics.

Motion cues

Six axes of flight.

Flight isn't a single sensation — it's six, all at once. Every cue is computed from live simulator telemetry in one kinematic model — no canned effects, no shortcuts.

PITCH

Rotation & flare

Rotate on takeoff, hold the flare over the numbers, feel the trim change the moment the flaps deploy.

ROLL

Bank & correction

The roll into final, a crosswind lifting one wing, the constant small corrections of hand-flying.

YAW

Rudder & slip

Adverse yaw, a slipping turn, the tail stepping out on a gusty rollout.

HEAVE

Lift & touchdown

Thermals, sink, runway contact — the inertia that puts a grin on pilots' faces.

SURGE

Thrust & drag

Spool-up pushing you back into the seat, speedbrakes pulling you forward against the straps.

SWAY

Crosswind & drift

Lateral gusts on short final, taxi turns, uncoordinated flight you feel before the ball shows it.

Performance envelope

Numbers that fly.

30°

Degrees pitch

Rotation, climb and flare — held for as long as the maneuver lasts.

Bank you keep feeling through the whole turn, not just at entry.

Software

Flight mode, automated.

TORQ Control recognizes the running title and loads its motion profile automatically — and flight runs on its own filter set, not a re-skinned racing one.

WASHOUT

Sustained attitude

The washout filter holds long roll and pitch cues — a climb or a banked turn keeps pressing on you instead of running out of travel, while the platform recenters below your perception threshold.

TELEMETRY

Real data, not effects

Every cue is driven by live simulator telemetry — touchdown impacts and in-flight turbulence reproduce exactly what the airframe is doing.

TORQ EVO 2 helicopter flight simulator configuration with collective and triple screens

Hardware

One platform. Multiple applications.

The cockpit is modular by design. The rudder-pedal plate lifts out in one piece on four hand-released mounts — swap it for car pedals and back in minutes, no tools needed.

Flying helicopters? The entire seat module swaps for one with integrated collective and cyclic controls. For fixed-wing, the wheelbase comes off on two quick-release handles, a yoke mounts in its place, and the throttle sits on the side shelf. Monitors or VR — your call.

Build & price

Cleared for takeoff.

TORQ EVO 2 is built to order in the EU and configured around the way you fly — sim racing included, on the same six axes.
